Purpose Plastics

Purpose Plastics is a recycling and design studio based in Ipoh, Malaysia, with its main office and manufacturing studio located inside Lingkaran. Founded in 2020, the studio transforms discarded plastics into functional home goods like organizers, candle holders, earrings, and chess sets.

All products are made on-site in small batches, using a process that involves sorting, cleaning, shredding, and re-forming plastic waste. Purpose Plastics is committed to creating thoughtful, low-waste objects while providing hands-on work opportunities, including project-based roles for refugees.
