Performance Center
At the back of Lingkaran, the Performance Center is an open-air stage framed by banyan and Buddha trees salvaged from a cleared site in Falim, Ipoh. The space seats up to 70, with benches repurposed from a 1950s school auditorium that recall the feel of old Malaysian cinemas. Performances have included dance, music, and interdisciplinary works by artists including Datuk Ramli Ibrahim and Dua Space Dance Theatre. The venue is built for natural ventilation and minimal technical interference, offering a pared-back setting for both experimental and classical performance.
